Civic education materials portal for teachers

Context

Why this website mattered

With the introduction of the new Civic Education subject in Polish secondary schools, teachers needed a place with ready-to-use teaching support. The e-Dukacja Obywatelska portal gathers free lesson plans, videos, infographics and worksheets — available without registration and aligned with the new curriculum.

The project was a closed, complete delivery: we received a full set of materials and a key visual prepared on the client side, and our role was to turn them into a working, well-organised service. The admin panel also allows new materials to be added without a developer, should the project be extended in the future.

The cooperation went beyond code: we took part in conversations with technical-school students about civic attitudes, patriotism and running a business, and in Gdańsk we ran workshops on web design and development with an introduction to AI.

Scope

What mattered in the project

• WordPress build based on the key visual supplied by the client.
• A download structure for lesson plans, videos, infographics and worksheets, organised the way teachers look for them.
• Accessibility good practices in the front-end layer.
• Hosting, configuration and ongoing care after launch: updates, backups, monitoring and development (since Q4 2025).

Qualitative result

What remains after launch

• Teachers download complete lesson packs without registration or technical barriers.
• A complete materials base implemented according to the supplied key visual — with an admin panel ready for growth if the project continues.
• The portal remains under Invisio's ongoing technical care: hosting, updates, backups and monitoring.
