For many stores Allegro is the single largest sales channel, while WooCommerce is their own shop, fully under their control. Integrating the two lets you sell in both places without double work: one warehouse, one process, no manual re-listing. But „how to do it” has several answers — and a few traps. This guide shows the integration routes, when to pick which, and what to really watch for, from a builder’s perspective rather than a vendor selling a single plugin.
Why integrate WooCommerce with Allegro
Without integration, selling on two channels means two product lists, two stock levels and manually making sure the same item doesn’t sell twice. Integration merges this into one: listings, stock, prices and orders flow between the store and Allegro automatically. Less work, fewer errors, one view of sales.
Three routes — and when to choose which
There is no single „best” method. The choice depends on scale, number of channels and budget.
1. BaseLinker (an intermediary integrator)
An external platform that connects WooCommerce, Allegro and other channels plus couriers in one panel. When: you sell across multiple channels (Allegro + store + maybe other marketplaces) and want a ready ecosystem for managing orders and shipping. You pay a subscription but get a lot out of the box.
2. A dedicated WooCommerce–Allegro plugin
A plugin connecting the store to Allegro directly, within WordPress. When: you have one store and Allegro, value simplicity and keeping everything in one place, without an extra intermediary platform.
3. A custom integration via the Allegro API
A bespoke solution built on Allegro’s official API. When: you have unusual requirements, large scale or custom logic (specific mappings, automations, ERP integration) that off-the-shelf tools won’t handle.
Choosing the route is the first decision we make together with the client — because overpaying for custom on a simple store is just as costly as forcing complex processes into a ready-made plugin.
Two challenges that decide success
This is where integrations most often break — and what we pay the most attention to.
Stock and price synchronisation
The most important and riskiest part. If the same product sells at once in the store and on Allegro, and stock doesn’t sync quickly enough, you get overselling — accepting an order for an item you no longer have. So sync must be reliable and as close to real time as possible, and prices consistent, so a store promotion doesn’t drift from the Allegro listing.
Mapping Allegro categories and parameters
Allegro has its own rigid structure of categories and required parameters (e.g. condition, brand, EAN, product features). Your WooCommerce catalogue must be mapped to it — and with more products that’s real work, not a „click integrate”. Good mapping decides whether listings publish at all and whether they show up in the right places on Allegro.
What else to watch for
- Allegro’s rules and terms — listing rules, invoices, returns handling.
- Multi-channel order handling — so orders from the store and from Allegro land in one consistent fulfilment process (more on wiring up the back office: WooCommerce integration with ERP, wholesalers and BaseLinker).
- Cost — integration is one of the elements that genuinely push up the price of a store build (we cover this in „How much does an online store cost”).
How we approach it at Invisio
We aren’t tied to one tool — we match the route to scale and budget: BaseLinker for multi-channel sales, a dedicated plugin for a simpler setup, a custom API integration where ready solutions fall short. We help companies choose a sensible option and implement it, with particular attention to what’s riskiest: reliable stock synchronisation and correct mapping of the catalogue to Allegro’s structure.
